Oia Santorini, which forms part of the Greek Islands, is one of the most beautiful places in the world for sunsets and architecture.

If you have been following my recent posts about Santorini, you would have read that Oia is my favourite place in the entire world! The Views of Oia (Santorini) by day and why it is my favourite place in the world

Santorini (Greece) is my favourite place that I have ever traveled to in my life and it is all because I stayed in Oia.

“I loved the relaxed life style of the village of Oia.”

I loved waking up in the morning to the sounds of the sea. I even loved climbing up and down the stairs of our Cave Villa and stopping to greet passers by. I loved the calm feeling of walking through the squeaky-clean pedestrian only streets and admiring the white washed buildings. Oia is my idea of paradise and this place will forever be imprinted into my memory. Here are some of my favourite pictures of Oia by day. Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think! Then as the day alternates into night, the colour of the sky transforms into multiple shades of blue that blend into the white walls of Santorini’s cliff side buildings. Where to stay in Santorini: Aris Caves

Santorini (Greece) has quite a few accommodation options depending on your price-range and requirements.

We decided to look for somewhere romantic and quiet, with a great view of the Caldera. After much research, we decided to stay in the beautiful village of Oia in a luxury Cave Villa called Aris Caves. Aris Caves was #1 on TripAdvisor at the time of booking and all reviews were glowing, so I couldn’t resist. The hotel is considered a Cave Villa because they used to be ancient caves that were later turned into luxury Villas. Continue reading “Where to stay in Santorini: Aris Caves”
